Bloody hell…What a dreadful way to go for WAGES OF FEAR ! One week as a double feature at the poor old Chelsea which on its last legs. I remember seeing it at Moorabbin drive in early ’79 with the instantly forgettable JAWS 2 ! We didn’t hang around for it to finish. Dad probably finished his six pack and wanted to split ! WAGES OF FEAR was pretty non sensical though jumping straight into the jungle and not going nowhere fast as l recall.
And it wasn’t a real drive In friendly flic being so dark and all. It certainly didn’t resemble the much cherished SORCERER ! I love this film…l can watch it again and again. It’d be great to have the WAGES OF FEAR cut on a future edition of the bluray…tanx da slider
