Reminder: Sorcerer is a Seventies film.

To me, Sorcerer seems every bit as fresh and exciting as it did back in the summer of 1977. There’s not much in it to date it, aside from a lapel or two, when you think about it.

But here’s something that will place it right square in the Seventies — Tangerine Dream’s soundtrack was released on 8-track tape. It did not escape the annoying re-ordering of tracks that came along with this unfortunate format. These turn up on eBay every once in a while, for all you completists out there (like me).

About Toby

I'm a writer. And a dad. And a husband. And a record collector. And a movie geek (if the movies are old). And I really wish I had a hot rod.
